"Its a good scope for the price but it is difficult to focus fast and jitters pretty good over about 30x..." Read more
"...I expected it to be low quality, however not being able to focus at 200 yards, that wasn't asking much...." Read more
Customers like the performance of the binocular. They say it works great, the scope itself works fine, and it works especially well for taking pictures with cell phones. The optics are ok and get the job done on the average range. It works best on a bright day and is effective when zeroing from 50-200 meters.
"...at 50 yards, the scope works flawlessly and is easy to acquire, and very clear...." Read more
"So far I've used it out to about 130 yards, and it works fine. I would think you could probably push it to 200 if you had the right target...." Read more
"...It works especially well for taking pictures with our cell phones...." Read more
"...The optics are ok and get the job done on the average range and I think it would be fine with 22 to 30 cal + to see the holes as long as you have..." Read more
Customers like the clarity of the binocular. They mention it has a very clear field of vision, the optics are clear, and it is able to deliver a clear enough image out to 300 yards. The scope itself is clear and easy to use, and gives better views than most binoculas. At 100 yards, all levels of magnification is pretty clear.

"...to find things with on low magnification which still gives better views than most binoculars...." Read more
"...I was going to use it for sighting in guns at 100 yards, but it isn’t clear enough for that no matter how much I tried to get it to focus." Read more
Customers have mixed opinions about the spotting scope. Some find it great for the price, and a good starter scope. They say it's able to see their target at range and make necessary adjustments. However, others say that it'll be difficult to see with this scope, the zoom at max makes the sight hard to control, and the visibility is poor at max magnification. They also say that the glass isn't that clear.
"...I have to say that for the price this spotting scope handled very well...." Read more
"...I was unable to identify hits on the reactive paper targets at 200 yards using the 40x (or lower) setting, stabilized by a tripod...." Read more
"All I need out of this little guy is the ability to see my target at range and make necessary adjustments...." Read more
"Not a bad spotting scope for the price. The stand that is on it sucks, but if you hold it in your hand and use it that way it’s not a bad scope...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the binocular. Some mention that it's easy to work with, easy to focus, and completely manageable. However, others say that it never could get it to focus clearly, difficult to focus fast, and unfocusable.
"...With this scope, I was unable to even focus on the targets. I have a Crossfire II 4-16x - 50mm...." Read more
"...The scope itself is clear and easy to use. I use it at 50' and 75' mostly so I have nothing else to go on other than that." Read more
"...is between 15X-30X. Above that and it's rather difficult to get it to focus properly, almost impossible to do with the included stand...." Read more
"...It focused just fine at the lowest magnification, but at 25 or so up to maximum it would not focus for anything. I went home disappointed...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the size of the binocular. Some mention it's a good compact size, light, and saves LOT of walking. However, others say that it'll not fit in the included carrying case. The case is too small and the tripod is very small/short.
"...is because of the legs that come with the product... they are only about 6 inches long and make it very low on the bench rest...." Read more
"...Now the meat. It is lightweight, and fairly easy to find things with on low magnification which still gives better views than most binoculars...." Read more
"...The tripod is very small/short so I either prop the scope up on a sandbag or block or just hold it in my hand...." Read more
"...The lens caps do fall out and the scope is a tight fit in the included bag, but I'm extremely happy with this purchase, especially given it's price." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the quality of the binoculars. They mention that the tripod is flimsy, the resulting image is less than rifle-scope quality, and the camera tripod is not stable. Some say that the internals will crumble. Overall, some customers say that it works great, but it requires pretty good stability.
"...well, I'm probably going to spend the 400-600 on the optic. This thing was trash...." Read more
"...Good compact size, light and while the included tripod is kinda flimsy it can fold down into a compact size and does the job good enough...." Read more
"Sturdy and very clear" Read more
"...with careful focusing, the resulting image is obviously less than rifle-scope quality (has optical aberations to both colors and edges)...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the image quality of the binocular. For example, they mention that it's blurry, hazy, and not clear at 50 yards. The optics aren't the best and it'll degrade the image at full magnification.
"...It is hard to zoom while holding still/steady for viewing unless you mount it on an actual tripod...." Read more
"...all levels of magnification is pretty clear, 200 yards it starts to get semi blurry and at 300 yards you'll be hard pressed to see hits in smaller..." Read more
"...When zooming out you lose a little bit of clarity but mid range magnification is pretty good...." Read more
"...As a former photographer the Optics aren't the best but its under $40 so what can you expect...." Read more

Now the meat. It is lightweight, and fairly easy to find things with on low magnification which still gives better views than most binoculars. You have to hold really steady to see things at higher magnification. Leaning on the top of a vehicle worked great or against a tree or railing. It is a little harder to get a good focus and there is no adjustability to the eyepiece for comfort. It is hard to zoom while holding still/steady for viewing unless you mount it on an actual tripod. But for <$30 you really can't go wrong for what it is.
First throw away the plastic tripod. You can find quality tripods for less than $20.00.
The optics are another area it suffers a lot
Even at only 50 yards it is extremely hard to find a first or second shot hole from a
.556.
After you have 2 or 3 holes in the target you can see them a bit easier.
If I were going to buy another spotter scope I would save a bit more cash and buy one with better optics. On a black silhouette target it's extremely hard to spot a hole. After 3 or 4 more holes are on the target it's easier to find the.
A scope with this power range should easily be able to see shot for shot at only 50 yards.
I never like throwing off on a product but if you plan to use this as a spotters scope I would seriously recommend saving a little more cash for better optics.
For bird watching or something similar it would probably be fine. Just no good at the range.
UPDATE.
I changed to a much better tripod. Sorry... Do Not depend on this for spotting a target a 50 yards.
It is very possible it was just the scope I had. I have heard reviews of this scope where people use it to sight in on paper targets. Both via amazon and in person. The person that got me to buy this was actually a sporting goods store employee speaking to me about how I was uneasy to spend another 400-600 dollars on another optic.
well, I'm probably going to spend the 400-600 on the optic. This thing was trash. I would buy it for a little kid, who just wants to tag along, I would not recommend it for any actual use. I expected it to be low quality, however not being able to focus at 200 yards, that wasn't asking much. Not being able to see a spot on a reactive target, that really was even less.

- A bit of bloom / color shift at max zoom (the attached photo is at 100m. The photo has some extra reflections & blur since it's hard to put a camera to the lens when zoomed in)
- Stand & bag are ok but work (stand is small and plastic & bag fit is tight)
- Cheap & Lightweight
