Product Description

DVI Adapter - White, 6 inches

Connect the adapter to the Mini DVI port of the computer and the DVI end of the adapter to an external DVI monitor or projector. This adapter will allow you to use standard DVI-D cables with the mini-DVI port found on some laptop computers. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees.

Premium Construction for Superior Signal Transfer

The six-inch molded cable deliver reliable, error-free signal quality and protection from EMI/RFI interference. Molded nickel-plated connectors with gold-plated copper contacts ensure excellent conductivity. Integral strain relief and a rugged PVC jacket guarantee the cable and connectors last a long time.

I bought this adapter to replace my old one except I accidentally chose VGA instead of HDMI. For most computers, it most likely would not matter...my iMac does not support VGA (Supports DVI-D or HDMI Only). Since the adapter is New and not used or refurb'd, I will keep it in my adapter drawer for use on another computer. Since I still need one for the iMac, I will order the HDMI as the previous HDMI worked.
