If properly cared for, the blade will last years. However, the rubber will wear out over time and need to be replaced. When that day comes, DO NOT THROW THIS RACKET AWAY! The glue that is used to assemble Butterfly Pro-Line rackets will allow you to easily remove the old rubber. You can have the rubber professionally installed or you can even do it yourself! Replace with the same rubber or upgrade to one that offers more speed, or more spin, or both! Did You Know? Graduated from the Butterfly 603 racket that had worn out rubber after a couple of years of good use.

Took a few weeks to adjust to this racket. Speed and spin is really good. you can leverage the racket for speed and spin.. Great for blocks near table, touch play however may not provide enough control when trying to contain speed spinny balls...Could also send balls back from a little away from table easily. Overall a high quality within reasonable budget for intermediate players to graduate to.

So I bought this paddle that was clearly above my skill level not knowing if I could tell the difference. Well, let me tell you, I can. The rubber grips like no other paddle I have used and I can clearly get more speed and spin on the ball. I was disappointed that the rubber seems to flake off at the ends from inadvertently hitting the table, so that is a bit disappointing, but not enough to keep me from thinking this paddle is amazing.
