The remote that came with My new Samsung TV was almost unusable. Spent a day reading the instructions trying to figure out to use the $&*#*#* thing. Very few buttons on the remote that came with the remote and Piss poor instructions.

I was going to pack the whole darn thing up and return the TV and demand a refund. I have a Electrical Engineer Degree and a Software Engineer. I spend my while career designing equipment any can use. The remote that came with the TV failed miserably.

I decided to look for a better remote. Found it and am quite happy with it. It works great and anyone can use it. I would recommend placing the Samsung remote in a wood chipper and purchasing this remote.

Samsung was trying to save money on a $10 remote or create a challenge for their customer.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING SAMSUNG !!! The TV with the new remote works GREAT!

First off, thank gosh for these replacements! I lost my remote a year ago and it never dawned on me to find a replacement remote outside a factory model. Amazon was the first place I turned to and I found these TWO items sold together for a GREAT price, ordered them and received them less than 2 days later, popped batteries in and wala its magic! The remote performance was as expected with my Samsung! Only ease of use compliant is the remote requires multiple pushes on each button to get a response from the TV itself. This may be an old battery issue and not a product issue. Even still I would buy it again, not just once but twice. Best price I found for a pack of two.

I recently purchased this remote replacement that offers excellent value for the price. The package includes two remotes, making it an even better deal. Although it is not a branded Samsung remote, it closely resembles the original, making it a suitable replacement option.

One thing to note is that the APP buttons for Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime unfortunately do not work with all TVs (unless they were already on your remote originally).
