The router works good. Signal is strong.
It wasn't as hard to set up as I expected (being that there was no owners manual shipped with the router).
I could have found the manual online, but I had some recent experience/education from setting up my previous separate modem and separate router because they pretty much stopped working.
The setup on the CA3000 was pretty easy to follow. I only use the basic features of the router.
It is very easy to add other devices to the network by just pushing the button on the front of the router.
I would recommend the CA3000 router. Working beautiful for 3 months now.

This was so easy to install. It replaced a 12 year old modem/router and this was really "plug and play" I couldn't be happier. I just hope it lasts as long as the one it replaced. I run a desktop and a lap top computer as well as two tablets and I stream my television off it and everything is fine. Great product.

I left off a star on each category because I really don't know yet. As it turns out, there also is a problem with the signal getting to my home due to problems with the external wiring etc. It isn't working yet for that reason. For being a DSL modem, there is only one phone jack so it requires extra effort to run the telephone through it. Now comes the real disappointment. I paid extra to get faster delivery, but it came on the same day as it would have otherwise.

Was a little bit tricky to set up. But I think it was Verizon. I have Verizon DSL and have tried several of there modem/routers and always had auto rebooting problems. They say it was because I was only able to to get maximum 3 MB coming in. And have to many devices running (don't believe that). They also said that this modem/router won't work with their DSL line (it does). This modem/router has worked out great from day one. Handles all my devices with Alexa ( 25+). It's a little slow rebooting up not sure if it's the modern/ router or the telephone company ???. I can deal with that. A little pricey. A Great product.

It worked ok for about 8 months. Then the wifi portion simply stopped working. It took a lot time and effort to figure it out. Twice it came back for a few days then failed again. Finally died completely. Note that it is considered a legacy product by Actiontec. We updated the internal software, but that didn’t help. If you have no other option than Centurylink for internet. Don’t get this produc. Instead rent from centurylink, then it’s their problem.
