    Best feature of all is unadvertised. When the train falls off the wooden track or is otherwise removed, the train shuts off automatically, rather than just keep going and going. Compared to other brands, where you have to make sure you turn it off, this saves a TON of time and money after little ones walk away from a train that is "on" only to let the batteries run down. This feature alone sells it.

    One small imperfection: when the locomotive is going up a hill with several cars in tow, the front end of the locomotive tends to tip upwards. It works fine by itself or with one or two cars. It can tow several cars on straight or curved level tracks, but it needs a little help going up those hills. I was tempted to give this four stars for this reason, but the battery-saving feature trumps this minor complaint.
