The lighting kit greatly enhances my ability to capture better photos. I appreciate the quality of the light bulbs provided with it. The lighting allows me to take pictures from various angles using my DSLR. Additionally, the socket is compatible with a variety of light bulbs, making it versatile and convenient. This kit surpasses my previous LED lights, which were not replaceable and burned out, leading me to make this upgrade. I value the fact that I don't need to discard the entire set, making it more environmentally friendly and reusable. The ability to customize the lighting to my preferences is another feature I really like.

Neewer is one of the photography brands that snuck up on me in the last two or three years. Before I knew it, they were all over the place, providing me with affordable photography-related options at great prices. And that hasn’t changed with this set. What you get in the kit is pretty great for only $50 or $60. If you are a beginner or hobbyist in need of some lighting options to brighten up your photos, give this set a try.

I got this kit mainly for the tripod stands. They're quite tall when fully extended (about 7' to the post). I'll definitely put the diffuser umbrellas to work as well. They might not hold up as protection from the elements, but they are sturdy enough for their intended purpose. They cast an even-temperature light with the supplied bulbs, which are just bright enough to use as portrait accents or fill.

The storage bag they came with is about twice as big as it needs to be to hold the kit, but the extra room doesn't hurt. Overall, it's a nice affordable kit.

The Neewer 24W LED Umbrella Lighting Kit is a value buy that provides you with TWO complete units for basic lighting. You get a very nice carry bag for all of the following: 2 light stands, 2 umbrella diffusers, and 2 bright white 24W LED bulbs.

When you set the stand up it reaches very 90" high (7.5 feet). I would recommend setting the feet out a little wider for stability if you are setting it up high. The cord is long so you can put the stand up to the full height but you'll need to have it placed fairly close to the wall plate. Think about getting an extension cord if you are putting this up high.

For someone like me who is getting a home studio together, this is a terrific choice that can get the job done at home and is portable and can get the job done off site as well.

I would recommend this to anyone like me who needs to get the lighting done at a very affordable price.

This is a tremendous little lighting kit for the money. The kit comes with a nice storage bag that makes it portable and neat to store. The lighting from the 24 W bulbs is suitable for tight headshots. Because two lights are included in the kit, you get a nice, even lighting effect.

The umbrellas are stable and do an excellent job of providing diffuse light.

I wish the lights were adjustable for intensity, but that would be a bit too much for this price point. This is a sold kit at a excellent price.

This is a fantastic kit especially for the price. The bulbs provided aren't very bright for wide shots, but for headshots or other tight photo shoots they are perfect and if you want to use the kit for wider shots with the stands and umbrellas further away you can always swap out the bulbs. The umbrellas provide a great diffused even illumination without any hot spots, the 11 foot power cables make it easy to plug them in and position them, and everything is a great quality in both design and material. One of the best value photography lighting solutions I can recommend.

This set is simple for the amateur or learning photographer on a budget! This sets up just like all of the professional equipment I've seen, and does the same job, too!

Pretty much perfect for portrait lighting! (Also, this was packed really well, the umbrellas, bulbs, everything was solid and stable.)

The setup of the stands and lighting equipment wasn't too complex, and once everything was on the stands, it was solid as a rock. Can't wait to use this for a dance I have coming up!
