    WRITER OF TALL TALES AND HEFTY STRATEGY GUIDES

    After fleeing from a rusting, condemned, dry-docked German fishing trawler slowly sinking into the River Thames, Manchester-born author David S J Hodgson spent his formative career years writing for the UK's premiere video game magazines. After a stint at MAXIMUM magazine and the Official Nintendo UK magazine, he emigrated to the United States, where he joined the crew at the part-fraternity, part-sanitarium known as GameFan magazine. He wrote his first guide in 1996, and has authored over 100 official video game books. Highlights include official guides for Metal Gear Solid (1998), Half-Life 2 (2004), Zelda: Twilight Princess (2006), Fallout 3 (2007), Skyrim (2011-2013), WatchDogs (2014), Fallout 4 (2015), Witcher 3 (2015-2016) and Fallout 76 (2018). He also wrote The Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel (TESO Imperial Edition), and The Hero's Guides to the Elder Scrolls Online (2014). He lives in a shed overlooking Los Angeles with his wife, dog, and an eight-foot statue of Great Cthulhu.

No add on packs will ever match the original Fallout 3 game, sorry. Not what I really expected, wanted? , but what add on ever is for such an awsome original game? But, they were pretty good games never the less. I am not really computer savy and I need to say, the live phone tech support from Bethesda, was exellent! All 3-4 times from original FO3 through all my add on packs. I hope they make more add ons, or come out with a similar game as awsome as FO 3.

If you're the kind of person who likes to get everything and do everything within Fallout 3, then I would seriously suggest getting this guide (or the Game of the Year Edition if you can). It's written in a manner that does not give you the spoilers but does enough to tell you of the repercussions of the decisions you make within the game. The maps are generally easy to follow and broken down into sub-sections that explain in more details about landmarks and what you will find in the area. If you're looking for the unique weapons and items, this guide will tell you pretty much exactly where to find them. Well worth the purchase if you want to fully experience and complete this game.

A fantastic addon making the game even longer than its original.

The changes made on top of the first add on, The Pitt & opperation anchorage to the original, have enhanced playing as well again.

An absolute must for any Fallout 3 Fan!!!
