The exterior features water-resistant polyester, a thick layer of high-density foam padding interior which protects the lens from scratch, shock, rain & moisture.

Interior thickened padding and exterior water-resistant material to provides great protection from scratch, shock, rain and moisture.

It has deep blue two way zipper with a mesh accessory pocket inside the lid. The two zipper sliders are designed with small loops, thus you can lock them together with a small lock for security. You can put the small accessory, such as lens cap or remote controller, into the inside pocket.

I have a Sony 200- 600 lens and I would swear this case was made for it, it fits perfectly in this case. Very good quality very sturdy. Comes with a strap that makes it simple to bring along anywhere you want. There is a pouch in the top so you can put your filters or carry extra cards. I put my teleconverter, in its own case in the case with my lens and I could put the teleconverter on the lens and it would still fit in the case. Overall I am very happy with this case and would highly recommend it.

Rotate the lens collar so that the body's grip lines up with the foot and this will hold the lens with a body attached. I don't have a TC so I can't confirm that one for sure with a body but I'll give it a 'maybe'. With a smaller body (aps-c A6xxx) it should fit with at least the 1.4TC.
Quality seems good, stitching and materials are fine, straps are fine. Nothing to really report. Overall durability looks ok but there is no way to be sure until it has been used/abused for a period of time.

Tried the DLP-7II case (on right within pictures) for the large Nikon lens but while it just fits the top cover bulges up and there is no additional room for the hood shade cover. With hood it inserted the Nikon's foot mounts causes the hood to stick up above the case and will not allow the case to be closed easily. The DLP-8II (shown in both pictures on left) is a much better fit for the lens IMO.

The DLP-8II case comes with an extra pad for the top/bottom and offers protection for the long lens without a big amount of movement. Yo can shake it hard and cause some movement but I can do that with most cases. Simply inverting and packing the lens hood over the lens in the case allows you to keep everything together in one place. Bonus as it means no missed components for a day out / longer travel. It is approximately 2-3" taller when both cases are compared. Reasonable trade off with minimal (3oz) weight differences.

I will re-purpose the DLP-7II case with another lens...
