It finally dawned on me to check the filter when nothing else would cure the spasmodic on and off cries from my V10. Sure enough, the air filter was plugged. As It would take longer to wash out the filter and have it dry than to get these replacements on Amazon Prime and the price was right, I'd buy them. Well first of all they don't slip right in like the original one as was stated in one Amazon 5 star review but are very slightly fatter than the real ones and require a bit of extra force to get on and off. But they lock into place and appear to work perfectly. Now that my original Dyson filter is clean and dry I have 4!

I needed to clean before my Thanksgiving guests arrived, so I pulled out my Dyson v10, and of course, it stopped working. The tube/pipe light came on, indicating a blockage, but when I tried to fix it according to the instructions on Dyson's YouTube page, it didn't work. I washed and dried my Dyson filter but had no success. I found another page that showed that the vacuum started working again after he replaced it with an after-market filter, so I decided to do the same. Luckily, these were same-day delivery, so I tried the filter as soon as I got it. These worked perfectly, and my Dyson had the same suction it did the day I brought it home from the store! I definitely recommend these.
