The rings didn't come with directions so I used the industry standard of 15-18 in lb (i set it at 15 in lb.).The bolt broke well below 15 in lb. The bolts aren't steel and seem to be some kind of pot metal.Seller's Amazon page says to contact Tasco directly.

Replaced a older Tasco Pronghorn with this scope.
Using it on an older Savage 17 HMR and it’s been great so far.
Zeroed in quickly. Has held zero even after it took a bump.
I’m hitting groups that are within a 1” circle target from 50 yards. I have no doubts this scope can be accurate out to 150 yard plus.
Tasco has made some improvements over the years and this scope is evident of that.
I’d recommend this scope for any lower caliber rifle. It’s probably overkill actually but it’s nice to know it will handle the recoil and it likes to hold zero.

just got my scope in today, 1/17/24 and the cross hairs are crooked. . This is one of the risks buying a product online. I have had a few tascos before ,they will accept a return, There was no damage to the shipping container or the scope. Amazon handled the return very professionally, I have another one on the way. I will return this factory defective scope tomorrow. I have hunted and target shot with rifle scopes since 1978. I have owned and installed dozens and dozens of scopes. I hunt Leopold scopes now. This Tasco will be on my 22 for target shooting.
