Superb quality bike rack
This will be a multi part review.Part 1. UnpackingPackaging was impeccable. Be patient and find the end of the protective wrapping. The unwrapping of the plastic wrap will make removal much easier and you won't be goaded into using a knife which might damage the finish. Unwrapping is the fastest means of removal of protective materials.Wow, what awesome quality of all components. The welds are perfect and the baked on finish is impeccable. I am truly blown away.Part 2. AssemblyThe instructions are superb. Everything is shown with a written description and drawing. Sequencing is spot on. My only suggestion is to use Locktite blue on the last 3 screws, but may not be necessary if properly tightened.Part 3. InstallVery easy, just slide hitch into receiver, insert heavy duty locking hitch pin and install anti-rattle clip.Part 4. UsePosition bend tube assembly for tire position. Lower top tube cross bar holder as low as possible then tighten to what seems overtight. When driving at first, stop to check cross bar holder to make certain it hasn't ridden upward.See photo of how I positioned tire straps to be most effective.Part 5. SafetyGo back and re-tighten all knobs.If loading one bike, I suggest loading it in the foreword position.Raise the crossbar holders to highest position and back the bike onto the rack and into position. Very easy, just slide hitch into receiver, insert heavy duty locking hitch pin and install anti-rattle clip.
Part 4. Use
Position bend tube assembly for tire position. Lower top tube cross bar holder as low as possible then tighten to what seems overtight. When driving at first, stop to check cross bar holder to make certain it hasn't ridden upward.

Part 5. Safety
Go back and re-tighten all knobs.
If loading one bike, I suggest loading it in the foreword position.
