This 4-slice toaster delivers contemporary styling to suit most décors. Constructed of smooth brushed stainless steel, with black-accented touchpad controls, the toaster has a LCD countdown timer. The touch pad controls offer 7-shade browning selection, one-sided enhanced bagel toasting, as well as, reheat, defrost, bagel and cancel functions with LED indicators. An extra-lift carriage lever allows for easy removal of small pieces of bread. A removable crumb tray allows for quick clean ups.

A Four Slot Toaster for All Seasons

Needed a four slot toaster. Checked other reviews on this Cuisinart since it is a bit more costly than the more common brands. I have used two other brands of two slice toasters which over time failed with less than adequate toast either
in the extended time to toast or the uneven browning on the subject bread. I purchased this toaster last month, it easily does different thicknesses of bread and bagels (has a special setting to toast but one side), have yet to try the "frozen" selection. After a month of use this toaster has preformed well both with toast and bagels. Would recommend it to any of my friends.

Overall, I am very pleased with this toaster. Great features and does a great job of toasting bread, bagels, etc. My only complaint is the manual up/down mechanism. It is cumbersome to get it to lock into place. On a higher end model like this, they should electronically raise and lower the carriages like some of the other competitor's models.

OK, I need reading glasses because I’m 60. I ordered this toaster because I have the exact toaster at our 2nd home. When I received the toaster I took it out of the box and recycled all the cardboard. I started using the toaster immediately , yet the numbers 1 thru 7 weren’t displaying well, it looked like double vision. I communicated quite a few times with the seller and they were extremely helpful about returning the toaster. I told them I had recycled the boxes as well, so they asked me to put the toaster in a box and bubble wrap it, they were fine with not receiving the box the toaster came in, which I thought was very understanding. I got home and had another box and had my own bubble wrap. As I moved the toaster into better light, starting to put the toaster in my box, I noticed I had not removed the clear anti scratch cover! LOL. Ok, I need reading glasses, but I laughed so hard at myself and then immediately corresponded with the seller what had happened and that I would not be returning the fabulous toaster. This toast is the best one I’ve ever owned , you never burn or under toast anymore. Everyone should have one !

Does bagels perfectly. I like the lift, it raises the toast to a more convenient height than our last one, where we had to use tongs. All in all, a good buy, and a good warranty..
