It's a must-have if you’re using a Radar Detector in your car or truck. It connects the Radar Detector directly to the fuse box under the dashboard for power from the vehicle’s battery. Our Radar Detector hard wire kit frees up the 12-volt power socket (the cigarette lighter) for other uses. as the hidden wiring,it will make your car more neat.

★ Hardwire Kit for Radar Detector x1
★ Fuse Tap Cable x4
★ Installing crowbar x1
★ Back-up fuses x2

Installation Steps:
Step 1: Connect the Red Wire of the Hardwire Kit with one type of Fuse Taps that your vehicle requires.
Step 2: Locate the Fuse Box and find an ACC Fuse Slot in it. ACC Fuse Slot only has power when the ignition is on.
Step 3: Remove the original Fuse in the ACC Fuse Slot and install it into the Bottom Slots of the Fuse Tap. Insert the same size of Fuse we provided into the Top Slots of the Fuse Tap.
Step 4: Connect the Red Wire of the Hardwire Kit to the positive terminal of the ACC Fuse Slot in the Fuse Box.
Step 5: Crimp the Black Wire and screw it down to any non-coated metal bolt/screw in your vehicle to ground it.
Step 6: Connect the RJ11 jack of the Hardwire Kit to the RJ11 input of your Radar Detector, and then the installation is completed.

Warm Tips:
★For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that you do not use any fuse slot used by any of your vehicle's critical components, such as the Air Bags.
★It is recommended to use a fuse that only has electricity when the car is started.
★ If you don't have experience on installing the hardwire kits for the Radar Detector, please ask professional for help

This kit is great and has everything you need. It’s straight forward and not too difficult to install. It’s nice not to have extra wires all over the dash. This is great for a nice clean look. I’ve installed one in my vehicle and a few for friends.

However I’ve had 2 kits that were defective. Sometimes they work great for awhile then just stop working. The last one I returned they said they never received it and I got charged back for it. My fault for not keeping the return receipt. I would buy again because it is hard to find a nice kit like this that comes with long wires and jumpers for your interior fuse box so you don’t have to drill a hole in the firewall and connect to the battery or to the engine fuse box.

Overall great kit for the money and good quality.
