2. Install the driver before inserting the USB card.In addition, for some special motherboards Windows 10/11 System there is no way to recognize the card, Please contact your motherboard vendor for additional USB drivers.

1). PCI-E slot protocol requires PCIe version 3.0 or higher.

2). The lanes assigned to the PCI-E interface are x4 or higher (The lanes assigned to the PCI-E interface are x4 or higher. (x1,x2 channels are also available, but the speed will not be reached).

2.When using a USB pcie card, USB devices have performance limitations on the throughput/performance of the card's data transfer. This depends on the USB protocol and cable material of the end device.you can check if your external USB device supports 10Gbps bandwidth by consulting your external USB device vendor.

It could have been the M.2 PCIe SSD enclosure that I was using to run the speed tests with (ORICO M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G14NBCS). Or the Desktop PCIe slot I had the card plugged into that caused this issue. Since these were purchased separately, I did not think that contacting this unit's supplier would be able to help with troubleshooting those. Btw, 10Gbps is equivalent to 1250 MB/s. [ So only a 3rd of the expected speed probably due to the PCIe expansion bus and not this card ]

Bought this card to install temporarily in several old servers so that I could copy their hard drive arrays quickly to a SanDisk Extreme 2TB external NVMe SSD at 10Gbps.

Installed with no need to use driver disk. Glad it came with low profile adapter. On a new R650 server, was able to copy from the external nvme to the U.2 NVMe RAID 5 (3x1TB) at ~380MBps on the built in USB 3.1 (5Gbps) USB Type A connection. Using this card, on the USB 3.2 (10Gbps, presumably), I was able to pull data off at a sustained ~680MBps to the array. Given the extreme amount of data planned for this server, this will be very handy for large data transfers. This card is worth it.

Bought this to link my Oculus Quest with my Mac Pro 5,1 since those old Macs didn't come with USB-C. This card installed easily with no software or drivers needed. The Mac recognized it right away. I use my Oculus on Bootcamp and Windows 10 also didn't require drivers or anything at all. I just plugged my Link Cable and my Oculus was immediately recognized at 1.8Gbps. This card is well worth the money. If you're an old Mac user like me, it's yet another device we can use to squeeze more time out of these. By the way, my Mac Pro is the old Chees Grater one from 2009. I flashed it from 4,1 to 5,1 and I'm still using it to play the latest games. This card now allows me to use it to fly MSFS 2020 in VR, which plays well because of this card.

Edit: Sorry to say that I had to return it. This will not charge the Oculus Quest 2. So, if you're buying this for the Oculus Quest 2 then try something else. The battery on the Quest drained out while I was using it and had it plugged in to this card. I reduced the rating to 3 stars.
