Our hardware modified Panasonic DP-UB9000 4K Blu-ray disc Player plays Blu-rays from all zones: A, B or C & DVDs from any region including 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 and from any system including PAL or NTSC out of the box. The Panasonic DP-UB9000P-K Ultra HD Blu-ray player is equipped with dual USB ports for connection of a USB storage device - up to 4TB. Balanced (XLR) & Unbalanced (RCA) Outputs: The DP-UB900P-K is outfitted with a 7.1ch unbalanced RCA analog audio output that lets you connect to an AV receiver, preamplifier, or processor with a corresponding 7.1ch RCA analog audio input. The "Front" RCA outputs of the 7.1ch analog audio output can also be used for a 2-channel connection to a stereo receiver. In addition, there is a balanced XLR 2ch output for connection of high-quality stereo receivers and integrated amplifiers. A Balanced XLR connection provides better audio quality with less noise. Optical & Coaxial Digital Outputs: The Ultra HD Blu-ray player is equipped with a optical (toslink) digital output and coaxial (RCA) digital output. Both digital outputs support Dolby Digital, DTS, & PCM (2ch to 5.1ch) audio signals with a sampling frequency of 48, 96, or 192kHz.

DO NOT BUY. Player is extremely finicky. 50% of the discs I tried did not play at all. In my case, it was defective from the get-go. This can happen with any product. But the problem is that the refund process has been ***A NIGHTMARE*** through Amazon. Normally, Amazon is very good with returns, but this one has been the exception. I have no idea why. After almost 2 weeks of shipping the item back to them, and 1 week of them actually receiving it, I am still waiting for my refund to post. I have no player, and no money back yet. Not to mention, I have wasted hours on the phone with Amazon's reps, all of them impossible to understand and rude. Avoid this at all costs.

This is a quality build 4k bluray / CD / DVD player. The bluray quality is gorgeous, very crisp and clear. The audio from the bluray movie is also superb and it will sound great through your home theater sound system. Panasonic has done a great job creating this player and it is built like a tank. CD audio playback is also superb. My only issue for a product that cost this much, I am very disappointed that this player does not display the audio CD metadata of artist name, album title and song title (minus 1 star for that). Really hope Panasonic will add this on the next firmware update.
