This is a really nice case that fully encloses the iPod and it appears to be fully capable of protecting the iPod from scratches, drops, and water, so you could use it even in the rain and not worry about your iPod being damaged. There's just one flaw that makes it a problem for me. The bottom edge of the case is too thick. Fortunately, it didn't affect my ability to plug in the charging cord. However, it DOES make it impossible to plug ANY headphones or earbuds into the iPod. I tried FIVE different sets of earphones, some with straight plugs, some with angled plugs, and NONE OF THEM would plug fully into the earphone jack. The case is TOO THICK.

This makes the iPod useless for me unless I invest in Bluetooth earphones. Plus, my car stereo has an option that allows me to connect my iPod to my car stereo, but the jack that's used to plug it in has the same type of plug as earphones and it WON'T plug into my new iPod with this case on. Bluetooth is not an option in my car unless I invest in a whole new car stereo, so with this case, I can't use the iPod in my car.

While it's a nice case, these issues make it a no go for me. I have to buy another case and screen protector that will give me easy access to ALL the ports. In the meantime, I can't use my new iPod until the new case arrives because I don't want to risk damaging or scratching my new iPod by using it unprotected.

So, if you use Bluetooth to listen to your iPod at all times, this case will be perfect for you. If you, however, need to use the earphone jack, this case won't work.
