Easy replacement stylus for P-24 cartridge.
I can't give an audiophile review for this, as I am just resurrecting an old Technics SL-BD27 I found for $13. The p-mount cartridge i found in it was a P-24, but the stylus was kaput. This replacement fits and works nicely with the (unadjustable) force of 1.3 grams of this turntable. If I can't fix the other annoying issues of the turntable, I will likely keep the stylus/cartridge.

It was easy to install. The sound quality is much better than the old needle (which was very old). Only issue I have is there is a loud deep hum sound coming from the speakers when there is not a record playing that was not there before. It appears that it is the electromagnetic field from the amp interfering with the needle. the hum reduced when I moved the turntable farther away. This was not a problem with the original system which is a rack system. Perhaps this needle is more sensitive than the original given the age of the system and advances in technology.
