So when it comes to cellphones and gaming platforms (like Nintendo switch), these will work with no issues. Customers said you can use these for Wyze cameras, which is somewhat misleading. Yes, you can use it, but over time, it will fail. I've been using these for Wyze cameras and found that for long term use, it will fail and put itself into "write-protected" mode. And if that happens, you can't add or remove data from the card and its pretty much useless after that. So far its happened to (2) of the SD cards, but its no fault to Micro Center. An "endurance" SD card is required for these type of cameras. Additionally, for the price and memory capacity, these are a great buy! Just make sure you are buying the correct type for your application.

UPDATE! From one star to five stars! Almost a year ago, I bought several of these because I am familiar with Micro Center's good name. I used to love the Micro Center store in Westmont, IL so when I saw Amazon carrying Micro Center SD Cards, I was excited and stocked up. I had two SD cards fail in the same way when used in a Foscam G4 and Foscam R4 security cameras for less than one year. The cards are continually overwritten during 24/7 recording so maybe its just too much wear and tear on the card. The cards came with a 3 year warranty and when I talked to Micro Center customer service and discussed the failure, they were kind sent me replacements right away. Maybe the cards didn't hold up but Micro Center Customer Service stood behind their product and sure did make things right! One week later, I received my replacements. Thank You!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Sadly, I removed one of these from a camera and could not re-format it because I received a pop-up window stating the disc was "Write Protected." I could not get it to become writable and I have a full disc that I cannot delete files from or format. I tried every syntax option and other solutions that I could think of but it will not budge. I have a few more of these in other cameras that are working well but it only takes one to get a 1-star.
