The local farm store is consistently out of insulators. These insulators are less expensive and of better quality. My fences stay tight and the horses don't go to visit the neighbors any more.

I love these glass insulators (they look old). I had a project I was building and needed more glass insulators I ran out of old ones so I began to look for old weathered ones. As I got to looking I saw on Amazon you could buy a box NOS of 24 for $10.77. So I took a chance hoping they would NOT look new. These actually are a gray like color (NOT WHITE) with a few glazed over chips (which I love). They were about .50 cents each and that is great. The box took 2 days. Love Amazon!!

The insulator pictured is not the same quality that I received. That picture must be photo-shopped. Purchased to use as weights for weaving and will likely not use. They are not the smooth white glaze pictured, but are rough and a dingy colored. Also, very hollow, so lack the weight that they would be, if all ceramic with just a hole down the middle, that I expected.
