AptiX operating systems use advanced microprocessors and central processing unit bringing lightning fast reaction time into automotive multimedia entertainment systems. Standards for all AptiX models include Smart Sense capacitive glass touch panel, Bluetooth V4.0 for hands-free calling, Adaptive Fast Charging of enabled mobile devices, and more. Select AptiX units add multi-color illumination or an advanced audio staging equalizer. Bluetooth 4.0 with Enhanced Data Rate increases traditional data transfer rates to 2.1 Mbit/s. This lightning quick information transfer increases clarity & virtually eliminates unwanted distortion during calls and wireless MP3 audio playback. Most Bluetooth enabled Smartphones will transfer phone book contacts, view recent call logs, and stream MP3 audio tracks. We demand top performance of our mobile devices to meet our social media and content streaming needs. To keep up with rapidly changing design trends, our mobile devices tend to rely on limited energy capacity, utilizing every efficiency to prolong the charge of the battery. Select AptiX source units feature USB Adaptive Fast Charge technology, reducing necessary down time to get you moving again.     If it were possible, I would give the seller a ZERO (0) STAR RATING. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THEM. I bought this product a few weeks back. I had to make an appointment to get it installed which cost me $290 to installed it plus a camera. After a week or so of using the product, the screen started turning green followed by a very loud and unusual sound. I had to pull over and restart the car to stop the sound. This happened a few more times so I contacted Amazon to see what my options were. The seller respond that they can't do anything about the issue because I should have found out the product was defective within 2 days of receiving the product.

    for the price you get a pretty good quality unit. best explained.., if you dont have top of the line pioneer or alpine that cost 2 sometimes 3 times as much, in your head . you're getting a decent unit to bring you into the touch screen world. it has plenty of confusion to figure out but once learned it is a good sounding unit with boo-koo options.if you connect this to a 5 channel amp youl be all good . or , upgrade your speakers a lot of the time its the speakers not the stereo. someone commented the sound was bad. i only benched tested it upon receiving it and it sounded ok to me oh well cant please them all . practicality is the key now days. i recommend this unit highly . Well folks my dash bezel is unique like the car itself 2003 Infiniti M45 . Y34 . There is actually no aftermarket plug and play for this years model car. Everything has to be custom installed . I’m not willing to cut the dash of a rare JDM CAR FOR A STEREO. Only 8000 of these cars built for United States. I still recommend this stereo though . I WILL SAY THIS IF YOU END UP HAVING TO RETURN THIS STEREO .BE PREPARED TO BE LIED TO ABOUT AMAZON RECEIVING THE RETURNED ITEM . THEN YOU'LL BE TOLD THAT THEY RECEIVED IT BUT HAVEN'T PROCESSED THE REFUND , THEN THEY WILL SAY IN WRITING WE HAVE YOUR RETURN AND YOULL GET YOUR REFUND IN 4/5 DAYS ONCE THOSE DAYS COME AND GO YOULL BE TOLD EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE TOLD THE FIRST TIME, THEY HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE RETURNED ITEM AND THAT PROCESS WILL LAST FOR DAYS INTO WEEKS FOR A REFUND AND STILL NOT GET IT BUT TOLD WAIT 4 OR 5 MORE DAYS.     "Update! I have been unable to update the GPS maps thru Naviextras and received no support from Soundstream!" I was reluctant to purchase this radio because it seemed too cheap. I bought it to replace the unit in our 2005 motorhome, the install was straight forward and nothing out of the normal, all of the functions worked well and it met my expectations. The only negatives I found are, the install manual is very basic and doesn't do a good job of covering the GPS antenna installation, someone without experience would find it lacking also the Backup camera does not have a constant on function so you can use it as a rear view. The manufacturer web site does not offer the user manual or any support information.
