Product Description

This Osburn Modern Mantel Clock from Howard Miller is an excellent accent piece for your contemporary home. Crafted from select hardwoods and veneers, this clock in an Espresso finish features a slightly curved front and rounded corners for a stylish look. This office table clock features a white dial with black Roman numerals, bar-style hour markers, and matching ticking hands for a coordinated look, encircled by a nickel-finished bezel. The cylindrical pendulum in a nickel finish hangs behind a flat glass for added protection. Features a quartz single-chime movement that plays Westminster chimes on the hour.

Howard C. Miller founded the company back in 1926, at the age of 21, and is based out of Zeeland, Michigan. Even though Howard Miller understood the need to create products that would be steeped in quality and value, he expected nothing less than the best. From gaining the title "World's Largest Grandfather Clock Manufacturer" in the 1960s to creating collectors' cabinets in 1989, all the products have the same attention to detail and handcrafted ideals. Spent a year looking for the right clock. Always trusted the Howard Miller name and radiant sound.
Liked the more modern style for the living room. PROBLEM the sound it’s very tiney sounding not the deep rich sound. Really bad and noticed very easily. Had a previous H M school house wall clock also battery operated that had a beautiful sound.
H.M. missed out on the modern style and so did I. Did not return just removed the batteries for the sound. Lesson learned don’t purchase a clock until you first hear the sound.
