Effective and cute!
I love this device, it’s cute and does what it’s supposed to do. Yes there may be slight accent on a few words but we run into people with accents on a daily basis so it’s fine. I wish they would have made the animal upright instead of upside down, you can flip it to have the card read the other way but then the card is upside down. The cards I wish were a little thicker as I don’t think they will last long but we will see. Some pictures and words could have been used differently. Take for example the octopus…it looks more like a squid, and the motorbike.. they probably should have used motorcycle. These are obviously minor considering the number of cards you get and words that can be used for the same thing. Another example is they list on the card what the common object is called in the UK. Overall a cute learning toy!

It didn't take my 3 yo long to figure out how to use this. It has a lot of double sided cards. My son really likes playing with this. Ours came with a charge so it worked right out of the box which was nice. It requires a mini USB to charge but does not include charger.
