    I kept having issues with my charging port (and replacement port) failing so I finally got these wireless chargers so I could at least plop my phone down on it and wake up to a full charge.

    They work and I don't think overheating is a huge issue. But they are very slow to charge. You might leave it for 30 minutes and go do something else only to come back and it's only got itself up by 11%. So it can be annoying if your phone died and you need it for something only for it to slowwwwly climb itself up to 1% or 2% while you're trying to google or make a call.
