I remember as a kid, the transformers that we got were durable and interesting, and felt like they could actually be the characters come to life. These ones are oddly hollow in the back, so it literally looks like a piece of pressed plastic. I don’t understand why they would drop their level of quality so much in order to save the simple step of adhering a back to the transformer, instead of making it one dimensional

These usually go for about $10 US… at that price, they’re a steal! They’re at or over a foot tall/long and for that price in 2022, that’s insane. There are hollow pieces sure, and the articulation isn’t the same as the $60+ Transformers, but again these are $10 so if you expect the same quality… you need to rethink some things. They’re super easy to transform, made of durable plastic that even my 3 year old can’t break, and they’re simple fun like the original G1 toys, just a lot cheaper.
