Compact & Versatile 360° Cross Line Laser

Self-leveling Mode:

Slide the power switch to the unlocking position, when the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is enabled. The laser beam will flash continuously when the tool is beyond the self-leveling range ± 4°.

Manual Mode:

Slide the power switch to the unlocking position, press and hold the "Manual" button for 3 seconds, then the laser line will flash 2-3 times and enter the Manual mode, then you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines.

Pulse Mode:

Slide the power switch to the unlocking position, then just single press the "Manual" button, it goes to the Receiver(Pulse) mode, compatible with Firecore FD30 laser receiver.

The laser is great! I would recommend it by itself, however, this kit comes with a tripod which is very cheap and not very stable. Also it's small, 3' fully extended. The green laser is well balanced and very bright in any direction, the until by itself on the floor or work bench is easy to move and adjust. The tripod is very sloppy and had to adjust without cranking things down and sliding off your mark. Further, the lack of stability is seen with almost every step, drop of a tool, or breeze. It settles down again quickly but I found myself unhooking it from the tripod and setting up a saw horse to hold it where I needed.

After I scraped the rust off the battery contacts, it turned on. I put it on the tripod and the first thing I noticed was that it wouldn’t tighten so it would just flop all over the place. Can’t get level with it floating and flopping around. After I found a washer to put under the thing, I got it tight. Then I played with trying to get it to level out. It basically has to be completely on a level surface to work at all. The tripod is garbage. It can’t hold the same position at all. My project was hanging a curtain rod. I lost so much time trying to set the level up, I could have just gotten the manual level out, which it what I ended up doing. I will be returning this.

I have even been caught with “you get what you pay for” so I got a more expensive one to help with that issue. Nope!

I was truly surpirsed by the brightness of the green laser light that this device emitts. I tested this in various scenarios and I was able to successfully use it on the self levelling mode and the manual mode. I prefer the self levelling mode and thats enough for me for indoor DIY projects.

This laser level was super easy to mount on the tripod. Be careful, it's heavy so if you forget to lock any part of your tripod stand on the top the weight of the level will tip the top over. I really like the futuristic design it has going on the top lol, I know its corny but compared to my Bosch laser level this one looks fancy.

In terms of accuracy I put both my current Bosch laser level and this one side by side and the levels were pretty accuarate, atleast accurate enough for me. Its super simple to use with the two buttons, one for horizontal/vertical lines and the other for manual or self levelling mode.

There were just two things I didn't like about this unit, one is the battery, it's not a huge minus but 4 AA batteries is a much, now if the batteries last super long then I am ok, but if i use this today and then try to use it in a month of two and batteries are dead, thats no good. Secondly, and this one was important to me was the so called "super magnetic bracket", sure it's magentic but it's not that strrong, it's a small circular magnet in the middle trying to hold the entire unit up. I tried the bracket on an outer corner where there is usually a metal corner and the bracket goes on strong on it own, but the minute i attached the level to it, I can see it sliding down and eventually falling but i was holding it at the bottom as I was not confident. I tried different places in the house and same result with the bracket so I avoid is completely and just use my tripod.

Overall, I am still very very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this laser level G30 from firecore to any DIY people here on Amazon.

I have used a few of these laser levels and there is no question, this is right up there as a "favorite".

First off, I love work with a GREEN laser output, (the others have all been red) and based on my most recent experiences, I fully intend to stick with Green from now on. Visibility is so much better, even outdoors. Although my outdoor experience was not as good as indoor, it is still MUCH better than red.

This is a three beam, (360º) level. This system is self levelling and provides you the ability to lock in any angle that you may need it set at. The working range on this level is 100ft but that range can be increased to 300ft with a receiver unit that is sold separately.

Aside from this being a Green laser, the other thing that I really love is the fact that it is designed for use with removable, usb rechargeable batteries. They are charged via a standard usb-c connection, (cables supplied) and not some ridiculous proprietary design. There is no charging head but who doesn'thave a ton of those? While the usual AAA batteries are much easier to come by in a pinch, these OEM batteries last so much longer (10hrs each) and they charge quickly. Having two of them makes a dead battery, a non issue because a swap out the the 2nd one takes seconds. On my 3 uses of this level, to date, I have yet to kill a battery in a single session due to the fact that each battery provides such extraordinary working time. That working time of each provides more than enough time to charge one while using the other.

Documentation seems pretty good. I have some experience with these so I can't say that I relied on it in anyway but it was clear enough to get someone with no experience, up and running, smartly.

I really appreciate the quality foam carry/storage case that is provided with this kit. It provides excellent protection for the level and includes storage space for the batteries.

The one feature that would have made this kit, absolutely perfect, would have been the inclusion of a remote, which I have on one of my other units, it saves time and is just more convenient. That aside though, this is one of my favorite levels to date and I have certainly shared that fact with some friends.

Definitely recommended.
