For some reason, our HBO Max wouldn't work on the Xbox or computer we set it up with but did with the iMac. The issue was I needed something to get the HDMI into the iMac and this worked. I did order one before this but it wasn't actually a mini even though it said it was. I had a try a few times to get a true mini connector which this was. It works great.

This won't work unless you use screen mirror mode on your Mac if you are trying to use it for a second screen the picture comes out like a fuzzy channel on the TV all you see is snow! , But when I switched it to mirroring mode it has a good picture, I would give this 5 stars but the material used feels and seems cheap and I can already tell it's not going to last long I have used it 3 times and am worried it's bending, also it is really hard to push in I thought I was going to break the dvi output on my macbook
