Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I hoped and prayed I could mount it to my Nikon D3200 without much fuss. It worked! Snapped right in. I am a filmmaker so this lens was going to be my main prime. I've been shooting with it since it arrived an hour ago. I decided I'd better relax, have a smoke and write a review.
Remember, if you want to use this lens on a Nikon you need to have one of the slightly older models. Don't use it on the D70 or you'll break the mirror. The bokeh on this 50mm 1.4 is breath-taking. Though softer than newer lenses, the subject remains nice and sharp. I prefer softer subjects in much of my storytelling so it's perfect for my films.
Overall, great quality lens. It will probably be permanently clicked into my D3200.
And I would absolutely buy from this Seller again.
I was able to mount it on my Nikon D3200, however, the camera is unable to read the f stops, which are the main reason I wanted to get the lens. If i will be unable to figure it out, the lens, unfortunately will have to be returned.
