With the demise of my Apple iPod I was looking for a simple MP3 player. This one is great. Great sound, easy to use. I did struggle with adding music to it from my MacBook Pro, and when I reached out to the company they immediately responded with suggestions. (Ultimately I ended up purchasing an adapter - USB-C to the mini SD card [which came with the MP3 player] and dragged music files into the SD card that way.) I haven't used any other functions other than listening to music (yet), but I couldn't be happier. I still haven't quite figured out how to organize my music (some songs are listed by musician, some are listed by album) but sooner or later I'll attempt to sort that out to make it easier to find songs. Nevertheless I am very happy with this and would buy another one if I ever needed to.

I bought the G3 to have a small, handy MP3 player instead of using my 6.5 inch Samsung Galaxy phone for Spotify use. This device has a lot to like, but with some limitations. First noticed that it uses Android 8.1, whereas it is announced as 9. Not a biggie but not fully trustworthy. Multiple music apps are pre-installed making it easy to use right out of the box. As I mentioned, I use Spotify and have 45 gigabytes of downloaded songs and playlist, so I do not need WiFi while I am out and about, The device is solidly built with some heft, pleasant to the touch and candy for the eyes. I have uninstalled several apps that I would never use. On board apps that I do use include, Kindle, Amazon Music, Spotify, Clock, File Manager, Voice Recorder, Libby (for public library downloads), FM Radio, and Chrome (works like a regular web browser but unable to access Play Store). On my regular phone and other devices I use Librera Pro to read my large book collection but that app is unavailable on the G3. This device has Moon Reader Pro installed, a wonderful, wonderful reading app. At 4.5 inches the screen is not to big and not too small. When I unlock the screen with my pin the numbers are easy to touch. Of course it has Bluetooth. It also has a 3.5 audio plug for wired output (some devices no longer have an audio plug). The speakers are functional but tinny. However, with headphones or ear buds, or dedicated console the stereo sound is FANTASTIC. Every musical instrument can be heard clearly with separation from each other. Total memory is 160 gigabytes and expandable. I have been listening to my playlist for several hours a day as I do something else. The G3 is a real game changer, especially at this price.

I ordered this device to replace an older iPod. I had tried a couple of other devices but playlists were limited and/or the navigation controls were limited. I received the device and ordered an extra 500GB SD card expansion for it. It integrated well and I was able to load my library of 500GB music and books onto the device and make playlists for them. The device had an issue with the USB connection after about a week and it stopped working. I contacted the company and they provided me some methods to test the device. When the device was still not working, they quickly replaced it for me. I was able to move the SD card to the new device and the new device works well. The customer service was excellent and responsive. I enjoy this player as it does everything I need it to do.

I got this for my son as his 13th birthday gift. He has an old school flip phone so music streaming isn't possible (he had been using an old ipod with whatever music was loaded to it). This is perfect for his needs. I logged into my amazon music account on the device so he can listen to whatever he wants. I created and then downloaded a playlist of songs (on Amazon music) I know he likes to his device so he can listen when we're not connected to wifi. At home he is always listening to amazon music, when we're in the car he will listen to that downloaded list usually. He also uses the fm radio feature. Sound quality is really good! And battery life is great (definitely an improvement from the ipod he was using!). He didn't use the earbuds that came with this only because he was accustomed to using what he used with the ipod so I can't comment on their quality. I did delete the chrome app, not sure if I can reinstall it but that's ok-I wanted this strictly for music playing and I'm not keen on my son having unchecked access to the internet yet lol
I hope this device continues to work as well as it has been working because he absolutely loves it. It is just what I wanted for him---it is perfect!!!

I bought this in early February. Now it’s the end of April. The device has lost its charge, and I cannot get it to take a charge. I liked that the player was small and lightweight. I liked that I could access Audible and Amazon music, as well as some other music players. Kindle was so-so with such a small screen. The device has a Chrome icon, but Chrome did not work. It was not compatible with my hearing aids.

Update: After I posted the 1-star review, the seller reached out to me and offered me a refund (or a replacement). I accepted the refund since I had already purchased a replacement. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

I'll tell you why! :)

It's mostly for camping. I love to camp, but I love my music, word puzzles, late-night TV, etc., so I charge and bring as many devices as I can to minimize recharges that drain my power station. As expected, this gem lasts me an entire weekend of the activities mentioned above, leaving my phone charged for more important things.

An added benefit we didn't think about - hubs and I play musical phones on the car Bluetooth to pair and play music. This just stays in my car, so whoever's DJing (MP3ing?) can just grab it, pass it around, etc.

I don't know why, but I thought you only heard sound through Bluetooth speakers or ear buds. It plays some robust sound right out of the unit.

Thrilled with our new toy. If your priorities are battery life, flexibility, portability, etc., you can't go wrong.

I cannot believe how well this thing works. It is a full fledged Android device running Oreo, that's locked down just enough to feel like a dedicated media player.

The device is fast, responsive and has an excellent battery life. It comes with a built-in speaker, headphone jack, microphone, and SD card expansion slot. When I purchased the mp3 player, it included a pair of pretty decent braided earbuds, a USB C cable, a cleaning cloth as well as a 125GB SD card. Incredible inclusions for something that was less than $100 CAD.

The device is preloaded with a number of apps including Spotify, Chrome, Tidal, Apple Music, Audible and much more. There is even an included radio app that uses your headphones as a receiver to pick up local radio stations. Unfortunately if you are looking to add apps for additional functionality, the device does not include the Google play store and does not support sideloading without being rooted.

The device may not be exactly audiophile quality, but it more than makes up for it given the cost. The hardware feels solid and well crafted, and has everything you would need functionally in an mp3 player. I have nothing bad to say about it; serious kudos to innioasis.

Purchased this product to mainly stream music to my H-Fi system, but have found that it also does so much more.

It connects easily to my amplifier via the headphone socket/Aux port, is well built and intuitive to use, plus the sound quality for the price is exceptional.

I would highly recommend this product.
