I expected to have to slice the wires, solder them and put heat shrink tubing on.
I was a little skeptical when the igniter wasn't as white in color when it was lit, but it turned on the gas and I now have my biscuits. Another reviewer noted that these seem to only last two years. We'll see how this brand lasts. A person with average mechanical ability should have no problems changing this igniter, avoiding a considerable labor fee. The repairman should have more challenging tasks, right?

The item works for now. But the biggest issues with these ignitor is that they don't seem to last longer than two years. I give it four stars for now since it works, but can't give it the full five unless I get a lot better than two years. So, the jury's still out.

Very misleading product. If you search for an igniter for WFG505M0MS Whirlpool gas ovens, it will direct you to this product. The connections do not fit. If you're skilled in electrical work, you could splice these wires together, but I was not willing to do this.
