I would have given these 3 stars, but After only 7 months of daily use they fell apart. I tired to put it back together and it makes awful noise and is unusable. I expected more from Bose.If all you want is headphones to listen to music, aside from the durability issue I would have given these 5 stars. The noise cancelling worked well and the sound was crisp and clear.However, I give the microphone use 1 star. I constantly got complaints that background noise came through much clearer to extremely loud and that people couldn’t hear my voice. If I was in a quiet room it was fine, but if there was noise in another room people could hear it better than me.I did contact Bose about the quality issue and was told that my warranty period had already expired. They would exchange for a new pair amd give me a discount, but I would that was going to cost me close to another $200. :(

Hubby loves this, its our 3rd set - he uses it daily at work as a finish carpenter, and helps drown out the noise of power tools, saws, etc. Bonus, it can drown out your wife too. Ha ha. Love that it has the band too, as it makes it so you don't loose the ear buds. After 2-3 years, the cords tend to wear out though, and we have to get a new set as it gets crackly w/ loose wires.

For $300 original price, Bose QC 30 is absolutely a no-go. But for $140? Absolutely.

Sure, Apple's AirPods Pro have slightly better noise cancellation capabilities, no wires, and fancier controls. But they cost $100 more than Bose QC 30 (renewed) and they arrived in practically in brand new condition but in a generic white box. The AirPods also have half the battery life for these (4.5 hours vs 10 hours) with active-noise-cancellation on, and finally, there are far too many complaints about AirPods Pro fit (I had to modify mine too with foam inserted underneath the silicon tips) whereas I find Bose QC 30 fitting me very naturally. I found the call quality (microphone) satisfactory. I wish the neck band vibrated with the call, though.

Bose's 700 NC is $400 and QC 35 is $350 - in comparison, QC 30 (Renewed) is a clear choice if you don't care about bells and whistles, need noise cancellation, and like Bose's sound stage in general.

Bought these refurbished because of Bose reputation and low price. Battery life has been very nice. I can go all day if not talking on calls and listening to music mostly. Sound cancellation is excellent. With the mobile Bose app it is adjustable. I heard it saves the battery. Connecting went great. Music quality is fantastic for wireless. I expect that from Bose. Mic is rather lame. I can use it but not near as nice as my wired headset or my old LG wireless. It works but I bought these for the sound quality. I am at PC all day and headsets on the ears drive me nuts.

Mine can't recharge. Try different cable and power source and it just never charge. I did like the headphones so I buy a new one localy and I realize how used this one was, I mean very use, nicely clean but still. Amazon make a full return from my order and half the cost of shipping back. So I loose time and 10$ with this one. The sound is great, but not as the full cup for 50$ more, but for travelling and on the move they easy to carry in my opinion.
