I really enjoy having floppy drives in my computer. I so happened to have two USB ports on my motherboard (server board, intended for boot drives) but I'm happily using them to power a pair of 3.5" floppies instead. If I could get some with USB header plugs instead that would be nice, but a USB header to two USB ports adapter would solve that issue no problem. Highly recomment

Now I can toss the old computers I have been trying to keep running just so I can use a floppy drive on rare occasion.

I bought this instead of a USB drive unit because, believe it or not, I still have some 5" floppies which I might need to pull stuff off of some day. Trouble is, I was worried about pulling the USB cable off the PCB when it experienced the inevitable rough handling in storage. Tying the USB cable to the power cable with a nylon tie, and finding the proper cardboard box to store in, has alleviated this worry.
