I was so impressed with all the random sunflowers I got growing in my sunflower garden! I have black, purple, pink, burnt amber, bright yellow and orange ones! I even have a few giant sunflowers! These seeds are an absolute must!!

I planted five types of seeds in my little makeshift greenhouse and these sunflower seeds took off. They just sprouted in a couple of days. They have me really excited to see how they'll end up outside, package comes with a large variety of sunflowers seeds so seeing what evolves Will really be interesting. The price was even a fair price for what You receive in the package. I have at least 40 plants out of a handful or seeds that I just tossed in dirt and I still have a package that's full of sunflower seeds wide variety I will consider this a good purchase and I definitely will recommend it to anybody who wants to plant sunflowers. Check your weights when you purchase these items. The weight of the package is definitely significant of how much seeds you will receive I purchased five different types of seeds and there was a couple of them that had 4 to 12 seeds in the package which can be very disappointing if you have failures with your plants or kids or cats tend to get into everything.

I ordered these sunflower seeds in May and received them very quickly. In late June, my Grandson and I planted about 10-15 of these seeds into the expanding soil pods. I have never tried to grow anything, it was simply something to do with my Grandson. They started sprouting in about 4 days. After about a week, I was able to put them outside (I live in Arizona) in a little plastic swimming pool and placed that in a partially shaded area.
In late July, I ended up having to leave the state for about two weeks. We had not prepared a planting area for them yet, so they had to stay in the pool. I did my best to ensure they would get some sort of watering while I was gone. I placed the sunflowers (still in their pods) into cardboard boxes and flooded the pool with water. I had little hope that these sunflowers would survive the excessively hot summer in Arizona. When I returned in August, I'll be honest, the sunflowers looked pretty sad. I resuscitated them as best I could. and by late August, about 9 of them had survived and I was able to plant them in the ground. I added a seeper hose on a timer and watched them grow very quickly throughout September. By the first week of October, we realized that we had a mammoth sunflower in the planting area that was almost 8 feet tall.
Considering that this was the first time I had ever attempted to plant anything and the neglect that these seeds endured, I am amazed that just about EVERY seed sprouted and lived!!
This was a fun "experiment" and I plan on ordering more of these exact seeds for next year. I'm hooked!
