The heel strap does dig into the back of my ankle a bit if my leg isn't bending forward - not sure if that's a problem with my ankle or the build of the shoe. Ultimately decided to return these shoes for this reason and because I was unsure if I could pair the glittery, champagne style with much other clothing.
