Es un lindo cuaderno y está bien construido.El bolígrafo viene como regalo y es bonito también.No trae instrucciones para configurar la seguridad pero en caso de que no sepas es de la siguiente manera:1. Viene con los números 0 por defecto2. Con los números correctos y halando el cuadrado metálico hacia la izquierda: abre3. Para una nueva clave: con los números correctos (0s) hala el cuadrado metálico hacia la derecha y sosteniendo, sin soltar, mueve los números hasta configurar la clave que desees. Una vez seleccionados, puede soltar el cuadro metálico, ahora tendrá configurada una nueva clave.

I usually don't write reviews but I really love this journal. What I love that makes it different from the rest?

1. It opens flat so you can comfortably write.
2. Good quality lock and user friendly.
3. Thick pages so my dark pen doesn't leak through the page and I'm able to use both sides.

I will say the pen is no good but I didn't purchase this for the pen. I'm also a pen snob, my pens are dark and smooth. Always at least 1mm in point. 😆

I bought this for my grandson since there is no rule that journals just have to be for girls, everyone likes to write their thoughts down. It is nice looking, has a masculine feel and is thick and a good size. But what I didn’t notice when ordering it because it does not show up except in one tiny pic, is that the journal has the engraved word “Secret” in half inch high letters at the bottom of the notebook. SO CHEESY and so not what the intended audience, adults and maybe young men, would ever want on a notebook that might sit on their nightstand or desk. Secret? Really? This is not a Barbie journal, not a pink unicorn little number, not a journal for an 11 year old girl given the masculine charcoal gray binding and the deer head, yet an 11 year old is probably the only person who would want the word secret emblazoned on their journal. It ruined the entire notebook for me and I know my grandson would scoff at it so I am not even going to give it to him. As is, I would not recommend. If they ditched the juvenile “secret” engraving I think it is lovely.
