    I like everything about the Bose Wave Music System IV. It's nice to have a radio that just simply turns on and off and a CD player that just simply plays when a CD is inserted, no need to get out the iPhone, connect to Bluetooth, etc. just to listen to a little music, no boot up and annoying menus. It's uncomplicated and Bose has thought of everything. It's easy to setup with the remote and the directions are easy to follow.

    It has good bass response. The default bass setting is fine for me. You can easily set the bass lower if the default seems like too much. The sound quality is excellent, a more refined sound than the average sound bar, subwoofer set up, most of which sound muffled and booming to me.

    The lack of Bluetooth is no problem as far as I'm concerned me. The unit will play an MP3 cd. CDs are cheap. Burning a cd with a selection of music is no problem. I prefer not to use the iPhone for music anyway. I rather burn a CD than fool with iTunes any time. The CD is backup for the music and save wear on the iPhone battery.

    The Bose Wave Music System IV isn't touchy like so much other technology, Bluetooth, touchy touch screens, etc., touchy volume controls that blow up your speakers or your ears. I turned off the touchy touch power on/off. You might like the feature. I didn't. The first time I brushed over the top to remove a speck of dust and the unit turned off I was a little put out, but I appreciate so much how Bose allows me to turn off that feature easily, I got over it and went back to loving it.

    I was hesitant about buying this because I had an old second hand one that was the pits. I had started to think that Bose was just overpriced and overrated. I'm happy to say I was wrong, at least about the Bose Wave Music System IV.

    I am so very happy with my Bose. The music that comes out of this treasure is unbelievable. The sound is so moving it has me spontaneously singing and dancing. You just need to setup your favorite radio stations or drop in your favorite CD and I don’t think you will regret it! Another great accessory is the remote. it makes it easy to layback and change the stations without getting out of your comfort zone. The only disadvantage for this model is that you do have to load your CD. If i could have afford it I would have gotten the model that lets you load more than one CD. But in any event this model is fantastic and I truly and happily recommend it. It is worth every dollar spent to have it.

    I was looking for a "backup" CD player to use in the kitchen, on the road, etc. This Boze provides acceptably good sound for such purposes, but of course doesn't sound as good as my home audio system. And the price seems a bit much. But the item was delivered several days earlier than scheduled, with no heads-up given to me. Luckily I was home and there to receive it safely, but if I had been away the item (the most expensive single thing I've ever ordered from Amazon) could've sat on my doorstep for days and perhaps have been stolen or damaged. Not sure if Boze or Amazon screwed up the delivery.

    I knew Bose by reputation and my sister had one of these. It sounded great enough that I decided to replace our tabletop audio unit.

    When we slipped in the provided Demo CD, we couldn't believe it. We were swept away and began playing CDs regularly.

    The FM reception quality, without adding an antenna was amazing and I use local jazz and classical stations for dinner music.

    The remote controller is very easy to learn. It is not complicated, something someone paid great attention to. I have created 6 FM station presets and easily switch between radio and CD playing.

    It is amazing. I'm always tempted to crank up the volume because the sound is so pure, bringing out the clean quiets along with the louder portions of music. But then we can't hear conversations and turn it down to a good mood listening level.
