    This replaced a problematic transformer and does the job perfectly. It is installed in a garage for outside retainer wall lighting. The remote daylight sensor is perfect for placing next to the window instead of where the previous unit with built in eye couldn't register darkness at the right time......when it was REALLY actually dark. It would come on prematurely. Hope this one will last for years to come.

    This was a replacement for my previous purchase. I thought the first one was defective because I was using dusk to dawn mode with the photo eye provided. It would come on but go off in the middle of the night. I also found that the lights were not going off in the morning. The issue was that the photo eye setting allows the unit to come on but you have to set the time on the clock to turn off. Different from other models I have used. There is a test mode that uses the photo eye for both on and off but not sure if I can use it for operational purposes.

    I bought this one to replace a cheaper one I bought in March of 2022. All the features work well, and it did well until December of 2023. It started to fail, and I could restore it by pressing the reset button. Then it would only work for about an hour after resetting. I actually bought a new one. Same brand. And I bought an extended warranty. I kept the old one thinking I wanted to send it back to them and see what they'd say and or do. I called the customer service number that is on the box and in the warranty and it goes to a scam for medical device bracelets. Now I'm really mad. Now I'll try to get help via the website. I'll update when if something happens.

    The unit is heavy and needed two screws to mount it. The reason I say this is becuase I bought two units, the other one is a noma which was also 120 watts but much cheaper. The good is it seems more heavy duty. The bad is I don't like the sensor which is a wimpy little sensor you have to mount separately and I'm not sure how it will hold up. In the noma, the sensor is embedded in the front of the unit so I don't have to worry about it getting damaged. Just the other day the lights stayed on all night even though it was on the 4 hour timer? I reset it and hopefully it does not do this again.
    So I will continue to monitor its functioning and hope it lives up to its reputation.
