I purchased these phone protectors for my sons for a vacation we went on. The cases themselves were durable and easy to use. We didn’t take them into water, so I can’t speak to the water resistance, but keeping the phones handy and safe was definitely what these provided. The strap that came with the protectors was thin and I didn’t trust it to hold up to my rambunctious boys so I swapped them out for more durable lanyards. I was extremely happy with these for what I paid. They did exactly what I was looking for!

A pain to get the phone out.

I bought 6 of these for a trip to Disneyland. We put our phone, cc, $ and passes in our plastic pouch and attached our Mickey pins to the lanyard. It worked well to keep the items dry and convenient to flip the pouch over to have the card scanned at the rides. However, It was definitely a pain to remove the phone to answer calls or take out the pass/cc/$. My pouch was the only one to completely fall apart on day 2. The pouches with the right to left flip mechanisms worked better than the ones that had to be rotated to unlock. My lock started falling off the the whole hard plastic locking top fell off on one side.
They were not expensive and did what they were intended on so I am not complaining too much. I did not take pics in the pouch and was not able to use the fingerprint app to purchase items.

I wasn't quite sure if I should trust my expensive iPhone to a case as simple as this but after my husband tried it, I was not only shocked but I was convinced. You MUST make sure that you follow the instructions to seal your phone properly. But, as long as you do that, your phone should be more than OK. I did the water and paper towel/napkin test before putting my phone in the pouch and that helped to understand how to seal the pouch properly as well. Follow the instructions and you'll be OK! I used the pouch all throughout my trip to Hawaii and took thousands of photos both under water and on land. It was perfect and made it easier to dust sand off my device as well. Keeping it in the pouch was a good idea.
