This is a higher quality version of the scansnaps (at a higher price of course). Mechanically, it seems to work much better than the scansnaps. Less paper jamming, faster, bigger paper tray, etc.
My wish list: I would like to see them work on the workflow of their software a bit. It is a little awkward, during upgrades it loses some configuration, and would like to see more PDF/A options.
Another thing I have always like about Fujitsu is they are pretty compatible with most things and they tend to keep their software up to date. In addition they make consumable kits pretty available and affordable which you will need if you use it extensively.
Overall though I would definitely recommend this over a ScanSnap unless the budget will not allow it.

Not for cards outside of toploaders
Followed all the instructions on how to scan cards. Numerous videos on youtube with Ricoh affiliates explaining how to set up. Followed all instructions, such as removing the wheel, and got crease marks in the cards as shown. Top Loaded cards were safe, but I bought this to help move my lower end cards. This is a return for me.
