I'll keep this review simple. To those who own a thinline laptop with poor thermal distributions, get this particular fan. I purchased other ones before, but they are big, they are ugly and quite frankly, don't work well.

My computer is an 13inch M2 Apple Macbook Air and those things are notorious for running hot, and the computer clocking down on the CPU performance.

This is a perfect for the summer. Keep your laptops optimal without it sitting on an ugly cooling pad. The size is perfect, the fan is silent and the design simply works.

I had an older Targus cooling pad that's 10yrs old and still working great (but has been permanently borrowed by my kid). So I knew I was going to go with another Targus.

It's super lightweight. This thing will keep your laptop cool. It will also keep your lap cool; which is nice since it's summer (let's see how I feel come winter). It's not very quiet. It's almost like a white noise (or when you hear your laptop's internal fan kick on but it's not hot air). It does get a little muffled when it's on your lap or if you put it on your bed but if you plan on using it on your desk, you'll definitely hear the fans. I do have to unplug it when on video conferences because people have commented they hear it.

There are some other stuff that I wish Targus adjusted. I wish the micro-USB on the back was tucked under a bit more so that it's not just sticking out there and can snag, I'd say it's protrudes 1-inch from the back. The "over-sized rubber pads" they advertise to grip your laptop...I've seen peas bigger than these! They will stop your laptop from moving around, as long as it's level or on a very slight tilt but it could be my own laptop's rubber feet that's doing that. For as tiny and probably inexpensive to make these grips are...they could have put two more towards the edge that's closest to you.

So all in all, it does what it says it does; it for sure keeps my laptop from even thinking about getting hot. Will I buy it again? Only if that was my only concern but probably not because I need something quieter.

I bought this because I love playing games. Unfortunately some of them made my computer a bit toastier than I’d like. I was looking for a cooler that didn’t have those stupid LEDs and this is the only one I could find. I thought my search was done when I found this one.

It worked ok when I used it on my desk, but not on my lap. The problem is the location of the fans. They’re positioned to be perfectly blocked by my legs, rendering it useless. So to combat this, I started using a lap desk. It helped.

Then not long after Amazon’s return period was up one of the fans quit. So now I’m stuck with a cooler that only halfway cools until I find a new one.

+ Buen nivel de enfriamiento con calificación de 9 puntos.
+ Dos ventiladores muy útiles que mantienen buen nivel de enfriamiento durante todo el tiempo que la portátil está trabajando.
+ Peso ligero y gomas antiderrapantes muy firmes.

Sobre lo que es incómodo:
..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-
- La base es totalmente plana por lo que los 2 cms de altura hacen molesto escribir en el teclado de ahí que utilizando un poco de cartón he logrado inclinarla mejorando mucho la experiencia para escribir.
- El enfriamiento es ruidoso y se escucha bastante mientras la base está trabajando. Mi calificación es de 5 puntos en este aspecto.
- Ajuste ideal para 13 inches pero para una portátil de 14 inches es pequeña ya que la PC sale de la base.

En conclusión, este es un producto bueno y muy útil para proteger la vida de tu portátil a pesar que hay que acostumbrarse al nivel de ruido que genera la base enfriadora. Adicionalmente el precio de venta es muy competitivo en comparación con otros productos similares.
