They work great for that purpose and have more than enough capacity to handle the full supply output if needed. The wire is very flexible with what appears to be silicone insulation like a high quality test lead and I don't expect it will stiffen over time. The connectors are also well made with a good tight fit and gold plating. I'm not using them for speakers but there is no reason they shouldn't work well for that purpose.

Like another reviewer, I bought these for a power supply with a ground post between the positive and negative outputs and I couldn't find male to female banana jack cables to attach to the device I am powering. This is a very high quality cable with great connectors and it also allows me to extend my connection to the PSU so everything isn't bunched up on my workbench. Nice heavy duty cable will withstand high current loads and is quite flexible. Now I don't have male banana jacks sticking out from my power connector risking shorting against other things on my desk. Very happy.

I installed these to make a 'service loop' for myself @ easier management of the AV wiring. Presumably, these should be no different than the speaker wire itself.

Installed without an issue, seemed to work fine, then while watching a movie the receiver shut-off during a loud boom in a scene. Powered-on the receiver again, all was fine until another volume spike.

Thinking the only change made was adding these cable extenders, but thinking they *shouldn't* be the culprit, I swapped-out the surge suppressor my Yamaha receiver is on for a Furman power conditioner.

Same result -- receiver shuts-off during loud bass/volume spikes.

I removed each of these extenders and re-tested -- no shutdowns since.

So for me these did not work and I cannot recommend them.
