Case Extended Edge Lip Missing on Bottom
I don't know what's up with these cases but I tried out the Gray one first and when I put it on my iPod it was hell getting it off! Also the silver plate fell off as well. Then I noticed there wasn't a little extended edge lip on the bottom.... I thought, maybe it got broken off!. So, I purchased the Orange one and it's the same :( I didn't dare put it on and I'm definitely returning it! Note, Last year I purchased a Green one that has little tiny circular dots that swarms around the Menu. I just love it and it has an extended lip on the end so it can be taken off. See Photos Attached.All being said, if you don't need to take your case off then buy it.

I had foolishly put my new iPod in my pocket and the face got a huge scratch on it from my keys. I had to spend a long time carefully getting the scratches out with my Dremel. Not wanting to repeat that mistake, I starting looking for a hard case for the iPod. This one is fits perfectly for the 7th generation 160 GB model. It's snug, secure and has openings in all the right places, so you never have to remove it. The case doesn't cover the wheel at all, so you don't need to worry about sensitivity issues. It looks really cool as well.

If you want the colors for your iPod Classic that is available for the iPod Nano, Shuffle, and Touch; these hard cases are a good option. I order the Green Hard Case Cover with Aluminum Plating, and the color is similar to the color of my green iPod Shuffle (1GB 2nd Generation). This case also protect the iPod's back, screen, and the front but allows the buttons (the wheel) to be expose for use as well as the charging port, hold button/switch, and the headphone jack. I am able to charge my iPod Classic in my iHome but I have to remove the plates, the white changeable things, that can fit different apple products.
