The eyepiece on my 12-year-old D90 kept coming off and wouldn’t stay on. Those things never stay on that well, but they at least would click into place, if not that firmly. However, over time my original eyepiece wouldn’t even click into place – it just slid up and down and came off every time I would take it out of the case. This new replacement properly “Clicks” onto the camera once again. Yes, it is still fickle and with a little bit of pressure will easily come off, but it’s at least back to how it was when I bought the camera it doesn’t come off every single time like it had been.

Fifty percent is not a passing grade. The good first: The rubber hot shoe cover fits my Nikon D750 and D50 perfectly. It will not fall off and provides enough resistance while installing in into the hot shoe to be reassuring. The bubble level is a nice touch and I should not be this annoyed, but I am. The package contains two and one is perfect. The second will not and never will center the bubble in the ring. Placed on a level surface one aligns perfectly and the other will always remain off center no matter how you tilt it. There is some obstruction in the center of the circle housing that interferes with the bubble. From reading other feedback this problem is quite common. The manufacture's assumption must be that the consumer will not bother to return the item if half of them work. The two eye cups are a perfect fit and the equivalent of the Nikon OEM. When a pilot has "lost the bubble" it means he/she does not know their orientation. Could even be upside down or headed for a mountain, inside a cloud, in a hard left or right bank . Quality control has lost the bubble!!!
