FM lives and this brings in Stations AND Does HD GREAT! (If your tuner supports it)
Small and easy way to pull in those FM stations! If your tuner support the HD Radio extras this pulls them in too! I live in an Urban area, but about 30 miles outside of the city…most of my FM local stations ok, BUT the “HD” extra stations would sometimes drift in/out. I used an old school TV rabbit antenna and i could pull them in fine but had the huge thing sitting on top of my tuner. Gave this a shot and it works just as good (maybe better for the size). I can even use one of the little adapters (the headphone looking one) in a desktop radio that has an internal FM antenna. I use that one in my RV and when camping usually don’t get many stations, adding this little antenna to that plug makes a huge difference. I never knew you could really put something in that little “EXT Antenna” plug. I also tried this on my flatscreen tv!!! I have cable but thought “if” it goes out, would be great to pick up local channels…i got the 6 main stations with no problem…but all 6 are local. Pulled in a few weird rural channels that i didn’t know existed and they were playing some cool old school tv shows! Will definitely have to pick up a few more of these! Worth a try especially if you still enjoy listening to Radio at home. Music, Sports, Talk…it’s all still out there

I needed a new antenna for my Kenwood home surround unit. I still listen to local FM from time to time, and I never had a good antenna on my living room surround till now. I also noticed the adapters would fit my base unit scanner, ashamed it's obsolete now. The reception is really good now, and pick up all local stations, and a few nearby translators for further off stations.

I had recently purchased a new Denon Receiver and the very ineffective FM antenna did not pull in any stations. Since It did have internet streaming radio built in I was able to still listen to some local stations and a plethora of far-off stations. However, I still like to have the ability to tune into broadcast stations. I received this antenna and immediately installed it, which was very easy since the receiver had a 75ohm connector and didn't need one of the included adapters.. The reception was way beyond what I expected. I can now receive all the local stations and even more than my previous receiver. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it if your receiver has one of the connectors provided in the set. :)
