First, I cannot start without saying this LED's on this are AMAZING!! I am an adult who conducts business and spends gaming time on her gaming laptop, and the LED's make me enjoy both much better. The stand itself is sturdy and well laid out, size is perfect (I have a 17in unit), the digital display and controls are easy to use, and besides being fun, it's all very practical.
The fans are super quiet (actually had to lean down and press my ear to the unit below my laptop to even validate that they were on. Because it is a late generation gaming laptop, it run it on the highest graphical mode while in game, which can push temperatures pretty high if played for hours.... this really keeps everything cool. My quad fans on my laptop don't rarely engage even.

I have a powerful laptop want to get hot.
I have a powerful gaming laptop that want to just burst into flames. So. Usually idling state is at 48-50C and id never thought this cooling pad would be so effective that would bring down to 41-42C idling state. And that surprises me! And this laptop is a high end. Asus dog strip G614ji intel core i9 13980hx, Nvidia GeForce 4070 8 gb. Dedicated vram. And I didn’t think it would be very efficient performance improvements. Of gaming that wouldn’t go pass 90C it stayed below that. During the intensive gaming.More to say!!! While gaming it used to run 95C on intensive gaming. And now it won’t go pass 90-91C it stays under the thereshold best part my cpu quits throttle back to low G.H.Z speed when it get to hot or bottlenecking. It was able to clock up 4.5 GHz no problem with cpu load 90C solid. Cooling!. Now you need to think about this cooling. It has 9 fans. With each single one of them runs 2600rpm speed now think about it times 9 how many rpm all together runs that’s 29000 thousands rpm !!!!!

Very reasonably priced cooling pad. I like that the six fans are very quiet and help with cooling my gaming laptop. The two USB ports means that with one being used from the laptop to power the pad, the other is available for other devices, such as my external HD. So, in essence, I'm not losing a port using this product. The height of the pad lifts the laptop in my playing environment which along with the tilt settings are a huge plus. Very light in weight, ABS plastic construction will be nice should I ever want to sit with my machine on my lap. Controls in front are easy to get to for adjustment of fan settings and lighting.
To see how well it worked, I fired up one of my most graphics intensive games, set the cooling pad fans at high and called up the temperature sensing proggie on my lappie. The temperature did not get high enough to kick the internal cooling fans on my Acer Helios Predator laptop into high mode. Those guys make a lot of noise when they come on, too. So it was doing it's job. The temperatures were comparable.
Now for the candy. Part of the reason I chose this particular one, aside from the price, is the lighting effects. There are 10 different settings. I thought the lighted keyboard on my gaming laptop would be nice, which it is, but it's not enough when I'm gaming late at night with no other lights on. Add the lighting from the gaming mouse to the keyboard and this cooling pad, this old man will feel like he's back in the '60s checkin' out the black light posters in friends' older brothers' rooms. During the day, I'm sure I'll use one of the settings that rotate the colors, during the evenings and nights? It'll depend on my mood.
For those on a budget, like myself, I recommend this product.

Works well for the price. I have an older HP Sleekbook that tends to run hot. This is my third cooler fan and so far this one works well. After several months of use it keeps my laptop from overheating. I will say the fans are not that powerful but they do the job. Likes: fits my laptop well. Mine is over 15 inches wide and this accommodates it well. After a few weeks of use I could hear the fans running - they were petty silent before. For me, not a deal breaker. I love the lighting - you can select from different colors. I have not cycled through them all. Here is a quick video of the lighting set I use. The lights do not bother me at night. Dislike: when my laptop goes into sleep mode, I end up having to reset the fan speed when the laptop wakes back up (admittedly a first world problem). I honestly wish the fans had a little more "umph" to them, but overall this works well.
