The helmet looks good, feels good, and is lightweight. For the money, this helmet is hard to beat. I like that the helmet is high vis which will keep you safer at all times since visibility is a danger for cyclists. The ratchet system works well and so does the chinstrap. The tinted lens works well and the magnets are strong. I've never had a problem with it ever falling off. The built-in light is okay... It isn't bright at all but it is better than nothing. I use the light anyway because the more visible you are to cars the better. Personally, I wouldn't count on the light on the helmet to keep you visible at night. Consider buying another light to attach to the bicycle which is what I did.

This helmet is very nice. It fits my head just right, is very lightweight and has excellent airflow. The strap is comfortable and adjusts easily around the ears (almost too easily). The price was good, considering what all you got: Helmet, back-of-head light, visor.

I haven't tried the visor as it's just a bit too long and touches my nose. Feels a little odd, so I haven't used it yet. It would be better if it were a 1/2 inch shorter. The magnetic mounting is also very cool, but I worry a bit too about stability.

The light on the adjuster know for the helmet sizing is a bit underwhelming. I had hoped it would be a bit brighter and that you can adjust the angle of the light. Mine, due to the size of my head, has the lights running in a diagonal instead of straight vertical or horizontal.

All-in-all, four stars due to the visor and the light. Otherwise, a good helmet.

Great bang for the buck

I bought this after years of riding with a 25 yr old Bell helmet which had served me well over the years. I kept the bell helmet all those years because it worked well with a torch mounted to the center channel and I ride trails at night.. I am very pleased with the VICTGOAL helmet. It is light weight, fits well and works very well with a torch mounted to the top of the helmet using just a single piece of Velcro and some rubber pieces for aiming purposes. The rear light on my VICTGOAL helmet did not work. I took it apart because I thought I could fix it. This was a big mistake on my part. I could not get the light to work. Thankfully I got it back together so it would still adjust the helmet when needed. Regardless the rear light was not a major feature of the helmet for me anyway. I was able to use some Velcro and use one of my more powerful rear lights on the helmet. The removeable / magnetic eye protector is a very nice feature of this helmet. Great if you ride places where there are lots of flying gnats which tend to fly in swarms. That said the inside of the helmet includes a netting that will keep larger flying bugs from getting into your hair. For the price I paid for this helmet I feel it was a great bargain. One last note; while I like the eye shield, if the helmet is not tight enough on your head the lower part of the shield will sometimes contact the bridge of your nose. Not a big deal since you can re-adjust the helmet but wish the eye shield was a half inch shorter. I don't use the eye shield a whole lot but carry it with me in case it's a buggy ride. My helmet came with a darkened eye shield ( for day use ) I bought one of the clear eye shields but wish the seller would offer the buyer the option to buy with the clear shield.
