I was searching for a new MIPS helmet with a lighting option for additional visibility and came across this Bell option. Took a chance and ordered and couldn't be more impressed. The fit is great, the buckle is extremely easy to use (not sure about the other comment about it being confusing...), the light has multiple visibility options and is easily removed if not needed. The visor is a nice to have from a usability and aesthetic standpoint. And the sunglass rest built into the helmet is clutch. If that was present in other bike helmets I've owned I've just been clueless and overlooked it for all of these years.

The only negative is the weird charging cable. Does not seem standard. Come on Bell, USB-C is the future. Let's get the plug standardized already.

The helmet is tops, the rechargeable light is nice, but the "buckle" is odd and doesn't come with any instructions. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to operate it.

Once you figure it out it's simple. My only concern is that if I'm unconscious after an accident when seconds count, no one will know how to remove this helmet short of cutting it off.
