It has its pros and cons but not bad for the price.
In my review I'm comparing this to the Plantronics the 5200 that I usually use.Pros:1...It works better than I expected for a Bluetooth priced in the 30s. With other cheap $30 Bluetooths I have had ppl say "you sound like you're under water", -But I've tested this one at work for a couple of days everyone I've called all said they can hear me just fine.2...I was skeptical about the mic being built into the ear part, but as it turns out like I just said, it seems to work fine. And given that it works fine, it's nicer to have it that way and easier to put on and less clumsy when you don't have a boom mic sticking out like the Plantronics v5200 has.3... it has a pretty nice carry case with a mold inside the keeps it reasonably secure when you have it in your pocket.4... I love, love, LOVE the narrow spherical shaped earbud, which in my opinion is how all Bluetooth earpieces SHOULD be made, as it's the only type of earbud that does not hurt your ear. I don't know why other Bluetooth headset manufacturers haven't figured that out yet.Cons:1...It has voice prompts, but not quite as many as the Plantronics v5200 has.With the V5200, you turn it on & it says, "Power on, talk time six hours, phone 1 connected, phone 2 connected." The Fimitech just says, "Power on" and then "Connected" in what sounds like a different voice than the power-on prompt, almost as if some other voice actress is voicing it, and she seems to have a strange accent (British?) It does NOT tell you how much talk time you have left. I haven't tested it extensively enough to know whether it gives a voice prompt when the battery is running low.When a call comes in, it doesn't give you an "answer or ignore" prompt, and you can't use your voice to answer or ignore.2....It doesn't seem to auto connect to your paired phones when you power it up as consistently as the Plantronics v5200 does. It's like, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't, and then you have to go into settings on your phone to connect it.3... The power on-off switch is a press and hold button, and that button is in the ear part , which means when I press and hold it I'm pushing it further into my ear, and then when it powers up, the powering up voice prompt is so loud it hurts my eardrum.Maybe just a preference for me, but for powering on and off, I prefer an actual physical on-off switch. -That way if I don't quite remember whether currently have it powered on or off, I can just reach up and feel that the switch is in the up position and then I know it's on.4... It would be nice if this thing had a portable charging case like the one Plantronics has for its Voyager and V5200 series. With this one, it's just a case, not a charging case.
