I opened the Amazon package and the camera filter was in a generic holder with a past UPS label that was ripped off the back. I opened it up and the filter was dirty with fingerprints on it. I had to gingerly clean both surfaces of the filter. This ICE branded filter was suppose to be brand new but obviously was used. It was sent by OEC Camera Accessories in Lexington Kentucky. This experience will most likely prevent me from ever ordering a camera accessory from them again. I was also going to get a 67mm filter but will go to someone else.

I am in the camp to add a clear glass filter (non-UV) for all my lenses (Usually B+W 007) as an added layer of protection. I get it; others say no need. I just like having it. I have scratched filters and the cost to replace them is negligible compared to buying a new lens. To each their own. Quality of image is not impacted for my use. With the BMPCC OG, there is a lot of IR pollution with ND filters, so I decided to try this rather than the B+W 007. It does the job, especially since for this size I am using a VND that does not have IR cut built into to it and I am not adding another layer of glass. Works as intended. 5 stars.
