Extra wide feet

I have a hard time finding my boyfriend shoes in his size 11.5 Extra wide. No one and I mean no one has extra wide shoes that you can walk in and purchase. If they do, believe me it’s the bottom of the barrel! Ugly shoes and maybe one brand and one pair total. Sometimes he has ended up buying something he doesn’t like just for the purpose of having new tennis shoes on his feet and he would wait until his pair was falling apart bc who wants to purchase shoes you absolutely don’t like! Searching online hasn’t always been much different. For example some brands could do much much better! Nike currently has maybe 2-3 pairs of mens tennis shoes in an extra wide online, adidas isn’t much better. We spent $250 on a pair of Hoka’s but he won’t wear them everywhere bc they cost so much he wants to keep them nice. Finally tho NEW BALANCE CAME THRU FOR US! He has picked out and purchased two new pair of these shoes in different colors. I bought him a pair for Christmas 2022 and his birthday January 2023! He loves them that much! I’m just glad he has a smile and is actually proud of the way his shoe looks when putting them on! He keeps them in their original box and cleans them everyday before putting them away. He might end up a sneaker junkie after all! Thanks New Balance.

I buy new balance shoes because they are not made in China. The fit and quality is good, they last a long time. The only quibble I have is regarding the shoelaces. These shoes have the flat style laces which stay tied much better than the round style. Last couple of pairs had round laces and they would never stay tied (trip hazard) have to keep checking… the toes of this model appear glued or sonically welded instead of sewed. Look water resistant- says trail shoes so maybe they are. I wear 9 wide, and these broke in easy, and are just as comfortable as my other NB shoes.
